30 Years Orphan----Outside#4

‘Sarah?’ Gently David pushed the woman beside him. Slowly Sarah’s eyes opened. ‘Oww… my head, its hurt. David what happened? You looked scared, what’s wrong?’ Sweats are still flowing down from David’s head. Sarah’s right, he’s still scared.

‘Yo…you are Sarah?’ David’s shaking.

‘Of course I am! But what happened David?’

‘You really don’t a thing?’

‘I just remembered I felt tired, then everything gone black?’

‘Phew. Just please don’t let that happened again’ David whisper to himself

‘Let what happened?’

‘Why don’t I explain to you on the way home. We are now still beside the road as you can see.’

‘Right’

David started driving. On the way, he told Sarah everything, from the part she got possessed, white pupil and the dream.

‘You telling me that I called you by a different name with white pupil!?’ Sarah can’t believe what David told her.

‘Ya it’s true. Then I fainted and like what I told you, the dream.’

‘But I don’t have a single memory about this.’

‘I don’t know Sarah. After I had that dream and what happened just now, I starting to feel that everything isn’t going the way it supposed to be. Everything doesn’t seems to make sense, and I think this has something to do with Ben’s disappearance.’

‘Me too. I think Ben has something to do with this. But what can we do?’

‘I tell you what Sarah, we continue to let the cops to do their work. While us, we both will have to find out more by ourselves.’

‘Ya, good idea.’

‘And by the way, you know anyone called Charlie? Or did Ben mentioned to you this name before?’

‘Charlie? Hmmm…. Ben told me this name before. He said that 30 years ago when the orphanage burnt down, there were only 3 survivors. He, a girl called Karen and a boy called Charlie. But after the burning, they never met each other anymore. Why?’

‘Nothing… just asking’

David thought that it’s better not to tell Sarah about how he got that name, he thought that it wasn’t the time yet.

It was outside Sarah’s house, David dropped Sarah.

‘Make sure you tell me if you got any news’

And so David drove away.

Sarah went to her letter box to check for mail. But what she saw inside the letter box was a shoe box. She took it out and opened it, what she saw inside made her nervous, a recording tape. She took her phone out and started dialing.

‘David, it’s me Sarah. I got something, something about Ben.’
